How to increase your paycheck?

We all have a small bird coming to our homes every month. This little sweet birdie makes everyone smile in every household. The men get happy because now they could pay off the expenses and buy that costly bottle of wine that they so very much wanted to have past many days. The ladies get joyous because now they could have their desired jewelry. The kids, well, it's time for them to buy their latest play stations. Isn't this funny that how much our desires are so deeply connected to this bird? Am not gonna play games further, this bird is your little paycheck. This "LITTLE" paycheck seems like something sort of the Alladin's lamp.

Now I know you would argue with me on the point that how dare I refer to your paycheck as "LITTLE" even though it has so and so many numbers of zeroes. Stay with me for a while, I'll tell you why am referring to it as “LITTLE”.

Your paycheck is very valuable to you and I completely understand why. You have given your whole time, dedication and hard work to the company you're working for. I commend you for the job you do. But many times people feel that their paychecks don't define their potential truly. There are still many people among you who still feel that the zeroes in their paychecks are not up to their expectations. If that is the case with you, let me help you with that.

Scarcity gives birth to unhappiness and unhappiness gives birth to sadness. Sadness gives birth to illness and prolonged illness gives birth to death!!!

There is some sort of scarcity in your life right now that makes you feel unsatisfied with your paycheck. By no means, I mean that there is a fault on your companies’ side. My this whole blog post is based on the presumption that your company is fully supportive and you are unhappy with your paycheck because you feel a scarcity inside yourself.

You must have had some innate desires and talents to show to the world and by some sort of bad luck or family circumstances, you couldn't express them fully. My school's art teacher used to love singing but couldn't due to her family problems. Another teacher of my school, who is currently a computer teacher, wants to be a dancer, but she couldn't, again due to family responsibilities.

So my question to you all is :-  What's holding you back?

It's just your own set of beliefs that have now grown into self-fulfilling prophecies. You have given yourself those excuses so many times that your mind is now afraid of taking risks and it just doesn't want to take a leap into the sea of unknown.

Drop away all those fears right now. This very moment resolve that you will definitely take out time each and every week to do the thing that is your obsession. I don't think obsession is a negative word, provided you don't do something harmful to the humanity as a whole.

I know, your family and it's responsibilities are important for you and they should be, nothing comes first before family. Then don't your dreams also deserve your attention? Yes, they do. Give time to your dreams. Spend time with your obsessions. Believe me, you'll feel alive ; you'll truly feel the happiness that you're missing out. I believe if you'll spend much time with them like on your holidays, your weekends and when you come back from the job, you'll be so awesome in it within a few years that you'll surely earn from it. It won't matter for you if it's a small percentage of what you're earning from your job's paycheck. The thing that will then matter for you then will be,  being bossed vs having a boss.

Spend time with your desires, take the time out for them. If you'll truly dedicate yourself to those innate desires, God will have no other option but to show the roads to earn from it. And this way you will surely increase your paycheck. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE JOB'S PAYCHECK AND THIS DESIRE'S PAYCHECK WILL BE THAT THE FORMER IS TEMPORARY AND THE LATTER WILL STAY WITH YOU FOR LIFE.

Now you tell me isn't this job's paycheck small(or as i referred to it earlier as "LITTLE") in front of the BIGNESS of your life's dreams that you so passionately love?

Take the time out, before the timer of your life runs out.

Till next time.

Stay motivated. Stay excited. Stay happy.
