How to increase your paycheck?

We all have a small bird coming to our homes every month. This little sweet birdie makes everyone smile in every household. The men get happy because now they could pay off the expenses and buy that costly bottle of wine that they so very much wanted to have past many days. The ladies get joyous because now they could have their desired jewelry. The kids, well, it's time for them to buy their latest play stations. Isn't this funny that how much our desires are so deeply connected to this bird? Am not gonna play games further, this bird is your little paycheck. This "LITTLE" paycheck seems like something sort of the Alladin's lamp.

Now I know you would argue with me on the point that how dare I refer to your paycheck as "LITTLE" even though it has so and so many numbers of zeroes. Stay with me for a while, I'll tell you why am referring to it as “LITTLE”.

Your paycheck is very valuable to you and I completely understand why. You have given your whole time, dedication and hard work to the company you're working for. I commend you for the job you do. But many times people feel that their paychecks don't define their potential truly. There are still many people among you who still feel that the zeroes in their paychecks are not up to their expectations. If that is the case with you, let me help you with that.

Scarcity gives birth to unhappiness and unhappiness gives birth to sadness. Sadness gives birth to illness and prolonged illness gives birth to death!!!

There is some sort of scarcity in your life right now that makes you feel unsatisfied with your paycheck. By no means, I mean that there is a fault on your companies’ side. My this whole blog post is based on the presumption that your company is fully supportive and you are unhappy with your paycheck because you feel a scarcity inside yourself.

You must have had some innate desires and talents to show to the world and by some sort of bad luck or family circumstances, you couldn't express them fully. My school's art teacher used to love singing but couldn't due to her family problems. Another teacher of my school, who is currently a computer teacher, wants to be a dancer, but she couldn't, again due to family responsibilities.

So my question to you all is :-  What's holding you back?

It's just your own set of beliefs that have now grown into self-fulfilling prophecies. You have given yourself those excuses so many times that your mind is now afraid of taking risks and it just doesn't want to take a leap into the sea of unknown.

Drop away all those fears right now. This very moment resolve that you will definitely take out time each and every week to do the thing that is your obsession. I don't think obsession is a negative word, provided you don't do something harmful to the humanity as a whole.

I know, your family and it's responsibilities are important for you and they should be, nothing comes first before family. Then don't your dreams also deserve your attention? Yes, they do. Give time to your dreams. Spend time with your obsessions. Believe me, you'll feel alive ; you'll truly feel the happiness that you're missing out. I believe if you'll spend much time with them like on your holidays, your weekends and when you come back from the job, you'll be so awesome in it within a few years that you'll surely earn from it. It won't matter for you if it's a small percentage of what you're earning from your job's paycheck. The thing that will then matter for you then will be,  being bossed vs having a boss.

Spend time with your desires, take the time out for them. If you'll truly dedicate yourself to those innate desires, God will have no other option but to show the roads to earn from it. And this way you will surely increase your paycheck. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE JOB'S PAYCHECK AND THIS DESIRE'S PAYCHECK WILL BE THAT THE FORMER IS TEMPORARY AND THE LATTER WILL STAY WITH YOU FOR LIFE.

Now you tell me isn't this job's paycheck small(or as i referred to it earlier as "LITTLE") in front of the BIGNESS of your life's dreams that you so passionately love?

Take the time out, before the timer of your life runs out.

Till next time.

What should we chase?

 Why do we chase?

The most certain answer to this is that because we are goal seeking animals. We want to chase something or the other in our lives. One moment it's the new burger introduced by McD and the other moment it's the new I-phone introduced by Apple. Well, I don't have any objections against it. But my main focus is on the fundamental need of the humans to chase and that's perfectly okay. This kind of instinct is very natural. We're born with it. It's in our trait.

But, do we ever realise that whatever we are chasing is aligned to our dreams or not ? Is whatever we're doing each day in alignment with our core values? Is our every activity taking us one step ahead of our goals?

I think you should take some time and think about this.

People these days chase what's fake. People these days go for the fancy. Like for example, people chase the fancy actors and actresses. See, I don't have any problems with that and I respect that profession, in fact, many actors like Robert Downey Jr and much more are my favorite. But what I want to show you is that, why get impressed so much by them that you completely forget who you are. This is the main problem with it. I want you to focus on being you. Why chase what's fake?

Life gives you opportunities. Chase what you want. Chase your dreams. Chase the best in what you do. Chase in being the better version of yourself each and every day. There is a very great taste in chasing your dreams. Am feeling it. Each and every time I write these blog posts, I feel that they make me feel more alive.

And when I see a person doing something filled up of passion I can see the fire in his eyes. And seriously telling you, I love it! I want that fire. That is the fire of passion. That is the fire of a burning desire in their souls that gets reflected through their eyes. I've seen the fire in the eyes of my heroes. That is one of the reasons why I love them, that fire, that's what am chasing, That is what I feel that calls me.

I leave these questions to you :-

What are you chasing ?
What are those things that you feel call you?
What are those aspirations in your life for which you can forego anything be it your sleep or food?

Build yourself so gorgeous that world starts chasing you, just to know the secret on how you achieved such humongous levels of excellence in your craft.
Build a brand that leaves behind a mega legacy

Till next time.

Be the Lion, Not the Sheep

Goals, aims, aspirations, desires, wishes, they all refer to the same thing. Yes, they are different if you see them technically but for a normal person, these all things are same. They mean the same to a common man.

Bringing bread to the table, having a car, a house to live in, a job to work and a few investments here and there to support your retirement. What’s the use of living life so little? By no means, I am against the principle of simple living, yes, the happiness of life resides in small things like having dinner with your family on a small table, that warmth, love, care and laughter with each other can never be experienced by you in a 7-star restaurant. But what I suggest you to do is :-

Why not think BIG?
Why not think of having a bigger house?
Why not think of driving a Lamborghini or an Aston Martin?
Why not make your childhood dreams true?
Why not go for the lion instead of chasing the sheep?
Why not take your dreams to a new level every time you step out on your playing field of work?
Why not go to the extremes and push yourself a bit harder?

Believe me; you just need to feel “that feel” for once. Life will show you something you’ve never felt. I’ve felt that the moment you step out of your comfort zone and you enter the region of the uncomfortable, your freedom starts to display itself.

Go to the limits. Go to your extremes. Go and make your dreams come true. No matter how much the people criticize you or try to knock you down, don't buy into their opinion. Actually, all those naysayers who bring you down, they are jealous of you. They are jealous of the genius in you. They are jealous of the expertise in you. They very well know that your future life will be better than theirs, and they can't see that, that's why they are constantly trying to bring you down.

Well, this is the habit of the mediocrity. Once it notices anyone from its crowd getting up and trying to get out of it, the mediocrity crowd pushes the person back into the crowd sucks it back into the wormhole of mediocrity. And many of the geniuses remain living as mediocrity whole of their life !

I really don't want that to happen to you. I still can't estimate how much human potential is remaining to be tapped which is currently trapped in this black hole of mediocrity.

Every day you step out of your home for work, remind yourself to do the best way whatever you do. And yes, life is so small. Why have small goals for it? When you're very much hungry what would you like to have? A small packet of French fries or some 2-3 burgers to satisfy your hunger?

That's the same way your inner soul is. It has hunger for success, dreams, to change the world, to make an image in the society, and most importantly… hunger for significance. Hunger for leaving behind a legacy, that's what I am all about, and I know that's what you're all about.

So why live among the sheep when you know you're a lion? A lion born to rule. A lion born to live for his dreams to get his dreams. so, be a lion, not the sheep.

Sir Richard Branson said it so beautifully that “ if your dreams don't scare you, they are too small “
