Why People Give Up So Easily?

The moment we come across a new project at work or any other responsible job is assigned to us, we feel enthused with the fact that it will make our life interesting, challenging and will motivate us to bring on our A-game to the table.
Some of us, gradually, feel the drudgery and all the intoxicating fire in the belly which was alive in the initial days starts wearing out. Odds are that each one of us has been in the shoes of that ‘some of us’ and have experienced the same.
With near to zero motivation, about to die interest and merely surviving confidence in the project/work assigned to us, we give it up. If the project has some direct connection with the daily bread and butter, then only we dare to complete it.
So, what’s the real factor behind such mentality? Why does this ever happen? Is there any solution for this?
Below I’ve listed out some of the very crucial reasons which will surely help you in knowing the reasons that why do we give up and to own the legendary seed dormant inside of you and be out there showcasing your WOW level genius to the world.

Here we go. . .
1.       We Magnify Challenges Too Much and Too Often.

After setting up the desired goal, we immediately start working towards its attainment. The gorgeous path of success then starts posing the ever-so-beautiful challenges in front of us, which we look upon as threats to our comfort zones, instead as an opportunity to seize.

This happens solely because of the fact that we start magnifying our challenges/problems/struggles too much and too often. All the while, when this “Degree of Doubt” is far bigger than the degree of self-belief, which ultimately forces us to give up.

This phenomenon takes birth again when we start thinking about what others might say/ think. Hence, when we start spending more time with the “Degree of Doubt” we happen to forget to grow our self-belief and thus commit the crime of self- sabotage.

We not only deny ourselves from the confidence of after-completion success but also from the glorious future and marvelous opportunities ahead of it.

2.       We Forget The Art of Perseverance.

The Masters are cut from different cloth?  à  NO!
They’ve got some superpower to focus for long grueling hours?  à NO!
That’s what makes them great? à YES!!!

Abe Lincoln, Edison, Henry Ford, Steve Jobs, Gates, Musk, You, Me, Everyone. We all have same physical features. Difference starts showing its signs when we look deeper and find out that it’s nothing but the art of persevering which aptly defines why someone is at a higher point today. (This is not judgment, just personal observation.) :)

Why we give up is because we presume ourselves to be so tiny in front of the huge goals we set for ourselves. We should breakdown the goals into smaller yet measurable milestones for the progress gets measured and course corrections could be made accordingly. [BONUS POINT : Add a reward for each milestone achieved. This will surely ease up your stress nerves.]

3.       The Grass Always Seems Greener On The Other Side.

When troubles give us their first peek-a-boo, we get jittery and look sideways, staring at the competition working hard and this discourages even more.

Now, you the reader, would you please tell me the name of one company which laid its 10 year action plan and worked according to that same plan and got its results? Well, chances are NONE!

“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.Delicious Ambiguity.” GILDA RADNER

Looking into the competitor’s strategy is okay for business POV, but yes, copying them is a sin.

In a nutshell, run your own race.

4.       Holding On To “Failure Tag” for too long.

This is something that kills the productivity and enthusiasm in most. We fail at some point and someone says, “You’re a failure.” So, instead of taking it proactively we react to it and keep rewinding playing the same roll again and again in our minds. Next whenever you hear that line, BANG comes the same reel again.

Stop this activity. You’re definitely NOT what people judge you as.

5.       We Want Outcome More Than The Willingness To Put In The Effort To Learn Skills Or Put In Those Study Years .

Instant noodles. Order and self serve joints. Technology has surely been a nitrous to our slow world but it has made us humans greedy and desperate to want things ASAP.  We aren’t much ready to put in those hard study years to go through the subject, acquire a lot of specialized knowledge and then brainstorm the market with our concepts, vision and actions. We want things now, this instant. And nothing makes matters worse than this.

6.       The Magic Ingredient is Missing in Most of Us.

SELF BELIEF
Main course is served.
Previously what you had were just the starters my love. ;)

The most overused but brutally true cliché is that people don’t believe in themselves to such gargantuan degrees in order to overshadow their “Degree of Doubt.”

We all have to go through our own set of challenging and arduous goals. Different goals call for different paths which obviously contain a variety of tough challenges, but they’re not the points to give up.

Imagine you’re driving in the night. Can you see the destination point from where you’re standing? NO. Then why do you expect life to not give you any hardships?

Start the car. Switch on the lights. Trust the process. As you move the light also moves with you. So the key is to keep moving. Have faith in yourself and in God (Infinite Intelligence) up there.

Challenges are meant to make us climb the summit again and again. I think not giving in is also an art to learn. ;)

Remember, those who persevere are winners. It’s the hard, grueling, weary climb that makes the experience of standing on the mountain top beautiful and worthwhile.
HUG YOUR GOALS
. Never let them go. After all, what are we without them, just a handful of meaningless dirt. :)

I hope my ideas have served you with their fullest of potential.
I would love to know your views as well, so please drop a comment below.

There has to be a cause

Have you ever asked the three letter word that resembles our curiosity and engages our mind in thinking deeply?
"WHY?"

We all ask this question so many times. In school, we irritated some of our teachers by asking them so many WHYs. We, humans, have the basic tendency to ask about something if we don't understand it completely and to the point we get satisfied.

Observe a small child for an hour. Talk with her. And in that one hour, that little girl will always be asking you “n” numbers of "WHYs". Children are just the passionate hotbeds who couldn't digest a small amount of information.
From the childhood itself, we are accustomed to the habit of asking “WHYs” a lot.

And why do we ask so many "WHYs"?

Because we are looking for the reason. The cause behind what has made this thing turn out the way it has. All of our questions that we ask in our day to day life are to find that cause.

Now let me invite you to consider the fact that we really never ask this question to ourselves daily. Now you would say "why should we ask this question?"

Because you and I, we deserve a better life. We all deserve to live our dreams.

We all deserve to be happy and enjoy the little pleasures with our families.
We all deserve to be at the top of the mountain.
We all deserve to be regarded as the ultimate heavyweight champion of our field.
We all deserve to be among the best human beings who ever walked this planet.

And for this, we need to ask this question daily to ourselves, twice.

Once when you wake up in the morning, to remind you that you have to display your values and shower the world with your love. And secondly, at the night, to make yourself aware that yes, you are contributing to the world in some way. Be it small. But you are.

We all need to hang this question on each of the tasks we do in our day to day lives because what differentiates a great human being from an ordinary one is that, the great one was acutely focused on delivering their best to their clients or customers or to the world as a whole.

All of us are humans. We go through tough times, we go through rough times and we go through very good times as well.

It's easy to stay positive and on track during easy times, but when the going gets tough, it's the ingrained granular crystal clear vision and definite set of actions that determine if you'll be a success or not. It's not said in vain that "tough times define the true matter of a strong man".

And obviously for designing such set of unique and exquisitely gorgeous habits we need to start from ground level. So, for the ground level, kindly do this simple exercise :-

Take a fresh paper. Divide it into two halves. One approx three times bigger than the other one. Basically, you have to divide that page into 1/4th and another one to be 3/4th of the page.
On the 1/4th one, write down the daily action of yours. And on the other one, write down the "reason" that why you did that.
Put the headings as Action and Cause respectively.
Now as your day passes by just start noting down your each and every activity in the Action side and write down in detail why you did that in the Cause side.

Whatever you do in a day, each second, each minute of your each hour determines your success speed.

So after you have noted down the above-mentioned tool, and have written down your daily acts for one week. On Sunday night, take a look at that particular chart.

And when you are done with that analysis, simply put the line "WHAT'S THE CAUSE OF DOING IT?" Behind each and everything you have noted down on the Cause side.

Make a note of them all. And then ask another profound question to yourself "IS IT TAKING YOU CLOSER TO YOUR DREAMS?"

You'll be astonished to know how much potential you are really wasting.

What's cause behind spending hours in chit chatting with friends?
What's the cause behind going from link to link on YouTube when you have so much work to do?
What's the cause to live life so ordinarily when you know you're meant for greatness?
What's the use of backbiting others and gossiping so much ?

I have myself used this method long time back and it has served me in increasing my productivity and happiness 100X. And I believe we all deserve to be happy and productive. If you are happy you can be productive. And if you start being productive you start feeling happy. And if one stops, so does the other one.

Therefore to be happy and productive, it's very important to assess each and every action of yours so that you are sure it's in line with your dreams. If it isn't a piece that could fit anywhere in your big jigsaw puzzle, simply delete it.

Please apply this simple tool that I have shared with you so that you could reach for those dreams and even fly above those clouds. That is my heartfelt wishes for you and your bright future ahead!

Good luck!

Follow this simple tool and do share your results.

Till next time.

U of GENIUS

[Read : I of GENIUS ]

Understand the value of every human being.

This blog post "U" of genius is in congruence with the "E" of genius which I wrote in an earlier blog post. The quality of a rich life, a rich business, a successful company and even a successful nation, dilutes down to one thing and that is the quality of human connections prevailing in it.
I think we all need all of us. For example :- a company's CEO needs the sweeper who sweeps the floor of the company before the CEO walks in. And vice versa, the sweeper needs the CEO to get his salary/wage. Of course, there will be a difference in the pay they both get with respect to the work they do. But I don't think it gives the right to the company or the CEO to exploit the sweeper or any XYZ employee.
I think we should treat every human being the way we want ourselves to be treated. You must have read a lot of stories of "rags to riches", you just never know when the tables will turn and story turns from "riches to rags" and might be the CEO who treated the sweeper badly might now have to work under the superintendence of that same sweeper.
And this is where the true "G" greatness of Genius comes into play. Every humble leader always treats his subordinates and his superiors with due respect. Respect the superiors because you need them. Respect your subordinates because you need them to respect you, otherwise without them nobody would respect you.
To end this blog post, I have created a two line summary. Here it is :-

" The success of a true company can never be measured
how much area your company is spread in miles,
But it can surely be measured by how many consumers
you have touched and
being in their lives giving them smiles "

How To Be Realistic ?

What does “being real” mean?

Being real means being WHAT YOU REALLY ARE.

Okay, that was tricky. Let me rephrase that.

Can you identify anyone who tries to be sweet around you and you know very well that he/she is someone else behind you? I know you can identify such people. This species is present everywhere.

Now if your intuition can sense this person, can't your fakeness be decoded by someone else?

I know you would feel good if someone who is bad, accepts that and admits it in front of you. Now, what would you feel if you accept your mistakes and flaws in front of someone else and promise them to amend yourself? A sense of joy, happiness and confidence will flow into you.

When you are hiding your true self from someone, the bond of you both will get weak. Negativity is like a disease. Once a germ gets into your mindset, it will spread the disease of negativity in you and then this disease is hard to be cured.
I urge you to be what you are. Step out into the world by being the most authentic version of you. You'll be someone who can change the world. Because what I believe is, that if someone can change himself (accepting his flaws) then changing the world is just a cake walk for him. This is because the real enemy of us is "we" ourselves. Let me serve you with the best part, you know your weaknesses. So why not attack them and be victorious?

The government has successfully put up fines on everything that is fake, be it fake product selling, fake advertisements, fake marketing, fake prospectus of a company etc. Sadly the government couldn't put up fine on the one thing that is diminishing the value of our society, and that is Fake Humans

So does that give you and me a license to be fake?

No, it doesn't.

It's the biggest liability on the whole community, if you're being fake. You know inside what lies you've told. You know inside what negativity you're spreading. Will you be happy from inside while doing so? I know you couldn't. Your inner self is someone you're afraid of. Our inner selves are the true souls connected to the God, and God never supports the fake. So why will your inner self-support you? Please give this a few seconds to think.

So, now ending our this conversation on a beautiful note :-

Love openly. Live fully. Kiss your loved ones passionately like there's no tomorrow. Be truthful. Be honest. Be funny. Be serious. Be happy. Be motivated. You have just one life. Why don't shower love and care wherever you go? You'll just get it back manifold.

Importance of Silence in our Lives

Today I was sitting on an empty metro platform of Delhi metro in India. I used to have this habit of sitting alone every week for an hour, this habit of mine always used to give me a new vision and a new clarity. Today did this after such a long time, and it felt divine.

I would like to share with you today the importance of being silent. Have you ever noticed any men in high repute, like a CEO or a great soccer player or your school principal? Didn't you notice that they used to speak less? That is because silence really pays off.

My advice to you would be to sit alone every week for a few hours and just think about the way you're leading your life. We all are just going with the flow of our lives, we never stop. Have you ever stopped and seen that are you going in the correct direction with the correct amount of speed ?

Whenever you're silent you talk to your most inner self. You can lie to the world but not to yourself. Let YOU, TEACH YOU. Won't that be amazing? I believe that each one of us has the potential to become legendary in our respective works and the way we lead our personal lives, but many times we can't do that due to various tensions in our lives.

I have found out the answers to my questions (tensions) in the deep valleys of silence. Those moments filled with tranquility they all provide me with inner peace, joy and fulfillment. Silence is one of my best friends. But this guy is a bit difficult to befriended. Silence becomes friends and answers to only those who are consistently looking for answers.

Life is beautiful, very beautiful. If you have any problems in your lives, spend some time in silence it will pay you off very well. Just think about your problems when you are alone. Don't fret over them, try to find some solutions and I am damn sure, you'll get them. This is because your inner self is manifold wiser than you are. Please seek his advice.

Build Focus Around What Matters

Your mind right now is having millions of thoughts. This very second, there are millions of thoughts, feelings and emotions going on in your mind. Most of those thoughts are subconscious.

This is the era of distraction. Constantly our mind is exposed to a new distraction every five seconds. Sadly most of these thoughts are negative. One moment you are thinking about a friend who ill-treated you. The other moment we are remembering our childhood and school friends. The very next moment, we are happy thinking about the gift given to us by our spouse. These millions of thoughts generate millions of emotions, and these millions of emotions many times result in an emotional imbalance.

And you know very well that imbalance is bad ; bad for your health ; bad for your well being and bad for your mental health.

How to counter it ?

Here are some fresh tips from my side :-

1) Stop Worrying

How much does a candy cost in your locality? A rupee here in India.
Will you buy it if you need it ?
No, right ?
Then please tell me that why do you buy the "Worry candy" from "the shop of the society" ?

This society sells worry for free and we all are so much accustomed to buying it, that we buy it very often. We buy it. We taste it.we regret it. And we again buy it. Why?

2) Will worrying do you anything?

Will your worry candy, do you any good? Or, has it done any good to you till now? NO. Then why buy into the opinions of others, take their worries on your own heads and load yourself up with this burden? Worrying is the cost the budding genius pays to resign himself to mediocrity.

3) Negativity will always be there.

Good has to be there to win over evil. What I believe in is that, we need and we should have some negativity in our lives. Only then can we make a note of the positives in our lives. It's good to be uncomfortable because only the person who's uncomfortable will struggle and fight for comfort.

There will always be negativity in your lives. Something or the other will always bang your head and fight for your attention. But you shouldn't get distracted by it. Focus on positives. Focus on the happy things in your life.

A few points to explain to you how to defeat this mental pressure :-

1) Write it down.

I feel a lot elated when I write down my problems. It brings clarity. It makes me focus on my most important priorities. It makes me realise that how small are my problems and it's just me who's magnifying them.

Writing helps you connect to yourself. It's like you're facing a person blunt like you and a person sweet like you. The person on the other side is you. It is very difficult to tell yourself the bad things about you. But believe me, when you'll do it. You'll love it !

2) Meditation

Yeah, I do mean that boring stuff of sitting for so long without any chatting.
Well, it does have many benefits.
Meditation gives you a firm control over your senses and your thoughts. It provides a unique power to you. The presence of the Infinite Intelligence (God) can only be felt with it.
Yes, it will be difficult for you to do it for the first few days but then after some days, you'll get in the mode of automaticity. It will get automatic for you. There will be many thoughts fighting for your attention, but it will be your responsibility to focus up only one thing. ( Search out various meditation techniques on the net, whichever suits you, do it.)

3) Go with the flow

It's okay to have some problems in your life.
It's okay to have some questions unanswered. That might be because God doesn't want you to have the answer. Be patient, answers will come.

Time has always been careful about what should be given, to whom and when. When the student is ready, the teacher just appears. When the time is right, you'll get your answers.

Let your mind serve you. You don't serve. Because if you serve it, (am sorry to say this) you don't deserve it.

Make it a practice to control your mental muscle. A man/ woman who can control their mental muscle has always been one of the most influential people of their era.

Don't you wanna be among them?

So stop worrying and let's kill it to the core. Am there by your side. Let's give it a head shot !

Who is Stopping You From Achieving Great Things In Life

Who are you?

Define yourself in one paragraph. I know that would be difficult for many and only a few will be able to define themselves clearly.

Write down the way you describe yourself.

Now read it aloud.

Read?

Okay, now let me drive the car and you sit on the passenger seat.

Please answer my these questions:-

1) what qualities according to you does an epic man have?

2) how does a man who has a high self-worth behave?

3) what are the habits of the millionaires and billionaires?

Written the answers?

Now read these aloud.

My main question here is :-

When did you feel a blow of confidence in your voice?

Wasn't it the second time you read the qualities of billionaires that made you feel boosted up?

That's the very reason behind this blog post.

Name the person who's stopping you to achieve your dreams.  Name the person who is not letting you discharge your most authentic form of genius. You know what the answers will be, it's YOU yourself.

We are so much habitual of putting our faults on other's heads that we forget that what goes around come around. This life is a boomerang. Throw what you wish for. When we are not putting in our level best efforts in whatever way we want, we tend to make this mistake.

Blaming other's is easy and blaming yourself is in itself a big obstacle. Our egos come in the way. But when we admit our mistakes and accept the responsibility, we become something else. Our self-worth increases and self confidence makes us boom into the sky even higher.

In the first instance, when you described yourself, it's actually not you defining yourself. It's the society who is defining you. We hear a lot of noise from this society and sadly, this noise happens to be their own negative self-talk. When we hear that, our minds get used to them, and when it gets used to them, our mind starts believing that it's true.

Society says"you can't do it. You're not made for it. You think too high. Your dreams are impossible. You don't have that thing in you." So we listen to them, shut up our inner self and resign ourselves to mediocrity.

Don't let the society define you. You're better than them.
You're a genius living among them waiting to be tapped in.
You're a source of positivity in this negativity epidemic filled the world.
This epidemic of negativity kills the potential of millions each and every moment. I don't think there can anything deadlier than that. When a human soul is infected, it's very hard to cure it.  Your positivity is going to be the antidote. Spread happiness. Spread love. Spread care. And yes, most importantly, spread SMILES.

The Truth always has to fight harder

I know this topic is very difficult to understand. The truth is always bitter. But the bitter, the better. You know, why truth always has to fight harder ? Because when you have a target in front of you and you know how difficult it is to hit, you trigger the most powerful bullet in you. And that powerful bullet in you is your hunger; hunger to fight harder ; Hunger to get your face marred by dust and sweat and blood and still be in the arena and fight like a warrior.

The truth is defined as a person or an idea that can change the world. History has always proved that men of all ages who tried to do “something different” were always hated by the society, even though later the same society gave them the respect multifold.

Take Picasso, he was never liked for his work, but did he give up? Take Mahatma Gandhi, earlier even he faced many challenges but did he give up? Let me share with you a small story. There was a man long time ago. He was a thinker and also a philosopher. His ideas were unique and worthy of appreciation by the whole world. But still the world couldn’t see the genius in him. So he was posed with a life threatening situation, either he should leave all his philosophical thinking OR he should drink poison. 2 questions :-

1)    What do you think he did?
2)    Who was he?

The answers are:-
1)    He drank the poison
2)    He was SOCRATES

Life has not always been easy for the successful men who have ever walked this planet. They had to pay huge prices. But did they ever give up? Had Socrates given up, we would have never known the name. The only way in which you can write your name in history is by doing something epic, something extraordinary, something beautiful that makes the world go wow.

What if your colleagues don’t stand by you?
What if in a difficult situation your biggest supporter stands against you?
What if your teachers(mentors) stop teaching you?
Should you stop?

The reason they are doing this is because they feel threatened. Yes, I know it sounds completely weird and awful. But, that’s truth. The society has never loved the genius. Now my simple question to you is that if no one is supporting you, are you even supporting yourself? Where is the fighter in you?

There will be people who will underestimate you. There will be many who will be in the first place in the race and you know they have cheated, but then what should you do? You should run. Run faster than them. Run better than them. In the end of every race, the one who spends his energy in the most constructive manner wins, not the one who was at the first place when the race began.

So my dear friend, the truth has always had to fight harder. The harder the fight, the sweeter the fruit. Who wants easy success? Right ?

What have you learned from life?

What have you really learned from life? It's not possible that till date you haven't faced any difficult situations in life. I know you have. So first of all, my heart goes to all of you who have fought so bravely till now in your life. Am always a fan of people who have fought hard, very hard in life.  And secondly, now I would like you to please visit those memories again. What did you learn from them?

Might be a loved one left you because they cheated on you or you cheated them. Might be you went through some terrible things at school that still haunts you. Might be you faced a big challenge in life that you never thought you would be able to face. It could be anything. Different individuals, different problems, different experiences  therefore different learning.

What all you have learned in life after facing all of your problems can be put in the following points, if you may, allow me to do the honor :-

1) Existence of the Infinite Intelligence

During your that difficult situation didn't you feel the existence of someone up there who's looking at you, he knows you're struggling and still throwing more challenges to you. Did you ever feel that?
If yes, then let me congratulate you because my dear, you are one of his bravest soldiers sent on this planet. Why does a teacher give the toughest question to only selective students in the class? Because the teacher knows that "that" particular student can handle this question, and if he/she can't, at least, their mental muscle will be exercised. That's the same way with God. He knows you can handle it. He throws tough situations because he wants to bring out the bravest version of you. So next time you see another big challenge, don't say " C'mon man! How the hell can I handle this situation? Are you serious? " Instead of this say "You testing me God, Alright man! Bring it on! "

2) The Bravest version of you

This is obviously connected to point 1. Yes, when you put in your level best and achieve a point when you can't give in even 1% more, and still after this you push yourself, that is the point when you start unleashing the real tiger, the real brave version of you. Because anyone can work to the point of exhaustion, but those rare people who still push themselves harder and reach "the arena of the genius" are called as legends in their fields. Don't you wanna be among them? I know you do. Well, that's why am here, to help you, to guide you, to motivate you in every way I can.

3) Something for Nothing rule

You always have to give something in the universe to get something from it. The universe works in perfect balance. The earth revolves around 365/366 days. The food that you eat always has the same taste and same color. The clock always had 24 hours and it will. Everything in life works in a balance.

Now if we talk about imbalance. What happens when people try to do damage to the mother earth? Volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, floods, droughts, earthquakes etc take place.

The nature loves balance. So if you want something from the higher power, you have to give something to it. Sometimes you will have to pay larger amount as compared to what you're getting. Let me warn you about that. But that's just him taking a test of you. Chill about that. You want your favorite car ? Name it, tell it to the Universe and then put your heart and soul to get it. See, if you're not ready to put in the required amount of hard work how will you prove to the God that you're even worth for what you're wishing for.

Even if you want a kiss from your girlfriend you need to give her time. No offense to all the ladies out there, but yes you know what am talking about, right? To get something you have to give something. You want your girlfriend's love, give her time. You want to get good grades, give time. You want to build a great business, give time. The only thing you can get without giving something in return is- failure, and that is in itself the worst liability to be acquired.

4) The biggest tornados in our lives are the biggest teachers.

I have faced many tornados in life. And I know you have as well. I've learned a lot from them. They just don't discover the true potential in you but they also make you feel proud of what you can do. All these tornados must have caused a lot of destructions in your, either personal or professional lives, but don't you think that old constructions need to be destroyed to build some new constructions? Old habits need to be destroyed to replace them with new habits. Old beliefs need to be shattered to accept the new ones. Old traditions and patterns need to be destroyed to get to some rare air success.

In the same way, we need these torments in our lives as well. I am still thankful to God for giving me theses torments in life. Many times these torments will define you. Let them do it. My torments have defined Me. Let your torments define you. Go with the flow.

5) My problems are always bigger than others'.

Everyone has problems, right? But how can you get success? By focusing on your problems or your opportunities? Opportunities, right? So why to think about your problems. The grass is always greener on the other side. Praise what you have. Not everyone has that privilege to it. Take, for example, not all have the two eyes with which you are reading this blog right now. Praise even the smallest thing that you have. Be grateful for what you have and never stop aiming for something higher. You're an eagle. Born to rule the sky.

These were the things I've learned from life. Would be glad to know your own views. Please do comment below.

How to Prioritize Your Day In The Best Possible Way

What do you focus on in your life? What are those things, around which your day revolves? What is the thing on which you spend most of your time?  This is what we define as our priorities. Priorities are those things on which we spend our whole day.

Now let me ask you a simple question:- what is that thing on which you spend a lot of time in your whole day? I know that the answers to this would be separate as we all are separate individuals. But are you going in the right direction ? Whatever thing you are spending most of your time on, can you see some sort of route through it which leads you to your dreams?

If not then, where are you going? Just think about this. What life are you leading then? What is the purpose of your life? The sole purpose of life should be leading a life of purpose.

Martin Luther King said it so beautifully that,” If you haven't found something worth dying for, then you are not fit to live”

Many of us spend the best of our days chit chatting, too much SMS, too much Facebook, too much Whatsapp, too many distractions, thus too much wasting of time. And then we sacrifice on our sleep to gain back the time we have lost in the day. And by doing this, the sleep deprivation makes our body weak. Thus, wasting of our body. So you see, the lack of prioritization wastes our potential, wastes our health, wastes our emotional happy state and to sum it up, it  is harmful to us. I think it's worse than any deadly disease. This particular disease starts from our own ways of spending our days.

See, This is what happens when you don’t focus on your To Dos List. We all make this To Do List very enthusiastically and very professionally. But the moment it comes to implementation, we procrastinate. Here are some simple steps on how to prioritize your day in the best possible manner : -

1)    In the morning, as you wake up do the most important thing in the very first few hours of the day.
In this way, your that most important work can avail the benefits of your fresh mind. And you can achieve the “big goal of the day” much successfully.

2)    Wake up Early !
I know , its difficult. But is it much more valuable to you than your dreams? No, Isn’t it ? So please wake up early. Because when you will wake up early and do your “big goal of the day” successfully, guess what it gives? It gives a sense of confidence, a sense of satisfaction. And it also leaves you with lots of leisure time in the day to relax and rejuvenate yourself.

3)    Make a time table.

Schools have taught this. Teachers have taught this. And you can easily search the net for advantages of a time table. So am skipping to the next point.

4)   Write your next day’s goals in the evenings.

As and when you are free from work and return home, give at least 15 minutes to build up your next day’s To Do List. Keep it short, simple and don’t make this list in the nights. Otherwise, your mind will always be stuck that you have some pending things to do and thus you won’t be able to sleep peacefully in the night.

5)   Don’t Put too many things in your plate.

Prioritization is done to make things simple and when you try to add up too many things in your To Do list, it gets tiring to even see it! And thus you don’t need any better reason to procrastinate.

6)   Don’t stress if you can’t do some things in the list.

We’re humans so yes, we do have limits and responsibilities and the tendencies to get deviated from our track. But if still due to some important reasons, you couldn’t complete your tasks don’t stress it, smile, stay happy and focus on what you have achieved and simply put that thing on the next day’s list.

So there you have it, a few simple ideas to take your life from mediocre level to the genius level.
