Droplets Of Happiness

Few days back I had a very amazing experience. Wanted to share it with you all.

There was a man, aged 28 probably, he was giving all his relatives ice creams to eat. All of his relatives were 80 + in their age and the way they were looking at the ice creams, I was able to guess that it was the first ice cream of their lives. For a while they were saying no to him but somewhere down there, the small child in them was jumping to have it!

 The man insisted and they agreed.

I was watching them very carefully... They were enjoying every bite of it. Whenever the ice would touch their sensitive teeth, they would look at each other and laugh. When the ice cream of one of them would start melting from one end, others notified him and they all again burst into laughter. Every moment till their ice creams was over, they were purely convulsed with laughter. It was a very sweet scene. I just couldn't take my eyes off their happiness and smiles which clearly showcased how much the little child in all of them was happy as if the old man took a seat and the small child in them was showcasing his energy and vitality.

What I learned from them was that life is small, life is short. We need to play it big but we also need to savor the small happiness it brings with it. These are what I refer to as droplets of happiness.

Drop by drop a sea is made. Bricks of small happinesses in life construct a life well lived.

Another incident that revised these thoughts in me happened a few weeks back.

I met a friend of mine. She's an awesome writer. She writes better than me. And I respect her and her way of writing a lot! (If I get permission from her then I'll share her poem with you all... She's damn good! no, not good it's GENIUS level thing! ) okay so as I was sharing, I entered her room and damn... I was surprised, a bit shocked and a lot curious to know the reason.

She has pasted all of her pictures on her wardrobe. Starting from her cute little baby pictures to her till date pictures. It's like a collage. In some she is making weird funny faces, in some, she is posing as a supermodel and in some, she's looking damn gorgeous (which she is, undoubtedly). And not just her pictures, she herself is a very strong lady and someone who doesn't let life's downs get her low. So basically what I learned by looking at those pictures and her nature is that... Life will throw it's worst cards at you sometimes... But it's your wish if you want to lose or you want to play it in spades. Her outgoing nature is just mesmerizing and yes it's also a real reflection of her inner strength and confidence. Her pictures perfectly define the class of that lady. And guys you know from where all these qualities and that alluring confidence came?

It's that collage. I haven't asked her about this. But this is just my view of it.

What I encourage you all to do is...To have your own collage. When your life gets you through its deep difficult valley, your collage will show you the way. When you're in deep tension your collage will tell you one thing. "Dude, why so serious?"(No, not in that tone of joker which you might be having in mind LOL..just kidding) In difficult times I believe these pictures will give you strength. They will speak ... No... They will SHOUT at you in times of distress that "Cmon girl, you've been through many difficult phases, this is nothing in front of all that". And then you bring a whole new self out to the world. Wow! Wouldn't that feel wow?

Let me sum up what I just said by giving you three examples of what your every picture will speak and remind you…

1)    The Weird faces you make will speak that be crazy. Life’s not meant to be all that serious

2)    The Childhood pictures will speak at you that live life maturely, be responsible but most importantly be a child at heart.

3)    The pictures in which you are looking elegant (for ladies)/dapper(for gentlemen), they will speak to you that look at yourself. You are worth more than you think. And you deserve nothing less than first class.

So please get your collage on. It's self-motivating and works as a self-affirmation tool too that you're worth more than you could ever think.

Your collage will always give you a smile on your face. And there's a very powerful effect of a smile. It's a very bitter truth that am telling you... But the world doesn't give a damn about the fact if you are sad. Your sadness will repel others. And your smile will attract others. And my friend's smile is very attractive and a good example of exuding passion and vitality which she so easily demonstrates through her strong character. 

If your tears cannot find a place in your eyes... Will they ever find any place in someone's heart? No. They won't. Only a few will be by your side and your biggest ally will always be at your side, and that is YOU!!!

So, have a collage guys! So that your best friend "YOU" is always there, looking at you, smiling at you and reminding you to take life easily, and to make you realize that you're just Awesome!!! 

These pictures will be your small little droplets of happiness that will make your life worth living !

What is LIFE ?

Our life is the biggest blessing given to us by the Almighty. Yet we don't know the reason why we are here and what purpose do we have? Yet many people spend their lives watching television in a subdivision and then complain of never achieving their dreams.

I believe that if you'll spend the whole of your life fretting about the problems, you'll never be able to achieve your aspirations. And that is not the real meaning of life. The real meaning of life lies in the secret of discovering who  you truly are and the reason, the mission, the vision you hold in your mind to make the dreams come true that are so very much close to your heart.

I believe life isn't a popularity contest or a competition, and it ain't even a rat race. This dogma is old. I believe that life is a challenge. But against yourself. 

Life means an act. An act of living with some solid purpose to leave the world a better place than you found it. And if you cannot do this. You're not fit to live.

Life means being in competition against yourself each and every moment of your life. Life means giving yourself the opportunity to serve others. Life means throwing away all the past hurts and living your life afresh because you just never know when it will be your last day. Life means being in sync with your deepest values and ethics. Life means working hard each and every time you face up a challenge. Life means getting back up every time you get knocked down. Life means, the moment you're drowned in your own sweat, blood, and dust and still... looking in the eye of the challenge and saying... " That's the best you can do? " and giving it a hell of a punch in the face. Life means giving yourself the freedom to be the child at heart sometimes. Life means having traits like kindness, care, and love imbibed in your DNA. Life means putting a smile on the face of a stranger. (myself done this many times, feels good) Life means giving up something you love for someone you love because you care more about the person than the product itself.

Life means showing leadership in the rough times. Life means giving out the best when the world expects the least from you. Life means expressing your innate love for your talents to the world and astonishing it. Life means being so exceptional in the world you're trying to create and the life you're trying to live that the world just has to salute YOU. Life means expressing your genius in your field of endeavor that you rise from being a professional to a legend and the world has no other option but to give you a standing ovation.

Well, that's life :)

How to be the real YOU ? (Part 3 of 4)

Step - 3:  Revisit your childhood days

When you even say the word "children", don’t you feel a bit of joy and happiness in your heart? 

Those of you all who have children must now be having the faces of your children in front of your eyes and those who don’t have children, must now be revisiting their own childhood memories. 
Do you really know what makes the small children so adorable? Well, it is the glitter in their eyes, their innocence, and their very nature of being connected to their truest selves that make them so adorable. And how can we forget their smiles ? Their smiles are so contagious that even the person who had the worst day will be smiling. Why does it happen that when you come from your work, tired and all stressed up and then to add to your stress your boss calls you up and gives you some strict word, but then only, you see your small child coming from his room running towards you and hugs you, your stress and anxiety just get vanished with that small magic hug. What do you feel after it? Elated? Euphoric, right?

That feeling of a baby’s smile, it communicates the music of his pure soul to your own soul and it is just beyond comparison. This feeling always connects me to my mortality. Am not being negative, but that is what moves me the most. I do feel that the most difficult problems in our lives can be solved only by one cute smile from your little angel. Those little angels are truly the messengers of god. All our problems, worries, anxieties and tensions are solved in a snap of your fingers. You know why those little angels can solve all your problems? The reason is that they don’t take life too seriously.

Kindly notice any small child when they’re doing some work which they are very much passionate about. Those small kids are very much passionate and alive while doing their work that we can feel that passion. 

I recently noticed my cousin brother. He was busy doing drawing different cartoons. He’s a beautiful cartoonist. He draws very amazing cartoons. And while he was fully engaged in his work, all of us in the house mattered the least to him. Well, that’s what genius is all about. This universe will surely support those who devote themselves fully to their craft and promise themselves to render the exquisite amount of creativity that the world just can’t ignore the genius in them.

Isn’t it funny that these small children who learn everything from us become our best teachers sometimes? We never know that when our life will show us our teacher. That particular person can be anyone and can meet us anywhere. Please be ready always. I suggest you to always be ready for the teacher of yours. When the student will be ready the teacher will surely present himself.

Model the small children, their passion, persistence and the fire with which they engage themselves in their work, It's truly breathtaking.

How to be the real YOU ?

Hello ! 

First of all, before we start talking about the matter that how to be the real you, I would like to pose a very profoundly simple yet a simply profound question in front of you.

How do you define yourself right now? 

Are you really being the real you?

Are you still that much excited and happy and cheerful that you were in the childhood? 

Where are your dreams that you had when you were a small child? Are you still having those dreams in your mind and are equally excited as you were in the childhood?

Obviously, we all are different,  so our reviews to these questions will be individual. I don’t demand an answer from you on this. You are your own biggest teacher and your own mightiest critic. Now I would like to suggest to you that you are very much human. Every one of us has millions of faults and millions of good things. If still you feel that you are having the worst problems in the world and they can’t be solved by anyone, then I request you to answer my this question. Are your problems bigger than the earth and the million of galaxies surrounding you? No? Then why to worry. 

Yes, they can be solved and they will be solved. Let the time do some magic for you. Many times we don’t know that from where the so-called “God Element” will enter your life and just whoosh away all your problems in your life with a magic wand. The only thing you need to focus is being the real you.

 God is a very choosy person. He doesn’t support or be there for those people who are always being fake. He is always behind those folks who know who they are and what they want in life. If you don’t know what you want from your life and where you’re going, then how will God know where to take you?

He isn’t the path giver, he’s the path clearer. He isn’t the lamp holder, he’s the guy who is holding the oil for the lamplighter. You are the person who is holding the lamplighter.

 You need to be the best version of you because of many reasons. The first and the foremost reason that why we need to be  the best version of ourselves is this: - TO HAVE AN IMPACT.

Impact, a very small word yet a deep meaning in it. Impact, in many instances, gets originated from competition among two individuals, where both of them try to have a bigger area of operation than his counterpart. I feel that this question has been in the air since the first time the human age got birth. And why should we not be having this question in our minds? If god never wanted us to feel the urge to be the best among all and to have an impact then he would have never given us the power to think this way. We all want to have an impact in our lives. We all want to be remembered when we’re gone because one day the BMW guy  will get buried next to the beggar and guess what, nobody would even give a damn. Am sorry for being a bit offensive but that is the truth of life. People only remember those who sacrificed something to gain the popularity they enjoy today. It just doesn’t take a fortnight to become a star in the eyes of the masses. Take anyone that you think about. Be it Madonna, or Lady Gaga, Pablo Picasso, Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi or Messi. Few days back I read an interview of Messi and he said in the interview that the only reason he is a success is because he is a hard worker. In that interview he said “It took me 11 years of rigorous hard work to be the star that I am today”, he was 17 yrs of age when he gave his first debut.

You see, Messi knew where he wanted to go in his life from the starting itself, he had the determination and discipline and god continuously put the oil in his lamp. The only way to be the best version of yourself is by doing some introspection. Because when you’ll go deeply inside yourself you’ll see that you’ve a lot of qualities and faults. And believe me, it's very much normal because the only person who has no faults lies in the grave.

Ironical, Isn’t it? But that’s LIFE.
