7 Influential Magic Wands to Transform Your Life !

You are not the only one who wishes that if we humans had a magic wand to just whoosh away all our worries and tensions. I used to think this way as well. Every time I met any tough times, my mind used to get down and my heart used to so deeply wish if I had a magic wand to turn breakdowns into breakthroughs. All of the wishes were in vain when I found no such magic wand to eliminate stressful times and challenging life experiences from my life.

When I was about to give up completely and accept my fate as being a loser all my life, something shook from the inside of me that changed me and my thinking pattern for life.

A fascinating fact here is that we do have a magic wand to change our circumstances and the reactions. Dr. Joseph Murphy has put it so well that “there are basically two elements on which nature works, which are action and reaction. The action is mostly objective i.e. it comes from outside the human body whereas the reaction is what comes from within us i.e. it is objective."

And the magic wand that I want to offer you here is your ability to react. We all are offered in life some gorgeous challenges day in and day out, but all really boils down to the fact that if we are able to maintain the poise and calmness of our mind or not. This can only be done when we have full control over our ability to react to the outer circumstances.

We need to be like a blooming lotus amidst the dirt of negativity in the world. Every second a new negativity is thrown towards us. The choice really depends on us that if we want to own these negativities or not.
This reminds me of a story of Buddha. I would like to share that with you :-

Once there was a man whose wife was inspired by the greatness and humbleness of Buddha. Earlier he didn't have a problem with that, but later that turned out in the form of jealousy. So one day he decided to go to meet Buddha and abuse him for hypnotizing his wife's mind. The man abused Buddha and spit out all his anger on him. When he stopped, Buddha smiled and said to that man “If some guests cone to your house, you offer them food and they leave without even touching a grain of it. To whom does that food belong?”  The man said, “To me obviously”. Buddha smiled and said, “In the same way, I don't take any of your abusive words, they all still belong to you only.” The man left, impressed with the true bigness of Buddha's wisdom.

I believe that is the bigness we all must possess to let all the negativity sail by us without getting wet from it. I understand it is very difficult to possess such a power. But let me astonish you with a fact that this power resides within you. You don't need to possess it, you already have it. The only thing required is to identify and then harness it to such an extent that it dominates your well being. Am not going to inspire you to shed all your worldly possessions and lifestyle and go and live in the nirvana, but am sharing with you some tactics to balance your outer and inner life. A few points on how you can harness this power are as follows:-

1)   Whenever you feel like spitting your anger out on someone just remember that how would you feel if you were on the other side ?

2)    The work you are doing, is it in accordance with your values and ethics ? If not then such a work will be your biggest weakness, remove it as early as you can.

3)    Do you feel as a contributing member in the service of humanity?

The service of humanity gives the indefinite power which makes one realize that life is meant to serve others as well. And believe me, nothing gives you much power than this.

4)   Do you greet people with your most genuine smile ?

5)   All of us are not here that long and we don't want to hurt anyone on the path of life. Do we ?

6)    Forgive others sooner than they forgive you.
This habit of forgiving someone sooner than they forgive you is a very powerful tool. It has helped me a lot. If someone ever hurts you, remind yourself that from within, we all are same. Might be the other person has had a bad day. Might be he had a fight with his wife this morning. Might be his loan payment is due.

When you apply this principle to practical life, you'll see that people will get inspired by your greatness and they will always flock to you with boundless care and love.

7)    Now last but by no means the least, give yourself positive affirmations every day, each moment. Such affirmations need to be felt while speaking and you have to believe that you are going to achieve that level of calmness. Some affirmations I suggest are :-

i)       I am great!
ii)    I represent calmness and tranquility.
iii)  I will achieve all my dreams and I have full faith in my abilities.
iv)  I have God on my side.
v)     I am humble and kind.

So you see, we all have these 6 magic wands to revolutionize our lives. Apply them to your current problem(s) and see this magical power work for you. It is and was always, ready to serve you. Now as you have identified it, uncover it ASAP.

Till next time.

What to do When it seems like the World is Standing Against You ?

Have you ever felt that what you're doing , is somehow ridiculed by the world?

Have you ever heard from the public, shouting at you from the other side of the fence that you cannot do it and throwing pebbles at you, just to make you stop what you're trying to achieve?

Have you ever felt that inner anger when even your own family members are not listening to you and understanding your innate desire to change the world with your craft ?

Have you ever heard the saying that "you're too ordinary" or "it'll take a lot of time to build up" or something like "you can do it as a part-time hobby, but you will never earn good money from it"?

Have you ever heard from the noisy people that "there are thousands like you, you don't have that thing to make a difference? You won't make a difference that “BIG"?

These are just some of the questions that you might be encountering on your way to success. And if you are going in this way, then I stand up for you and give you hats off. Because what you're doing is legendary. Not everyone in this world has that amount of guts to stand up against the society.

From our birth, we are accustomed to following the living ways of our closed ones. We imitate their every action like speaking, eating, talking etc to get in tune with the customs of the world. And such a child is then given the label as a "civilized" child. But when this same child wants to do something different from the world he is given the label of "uncivilized". Such a child wants to realize his wild dreams and pursue his passions without giving any regard to what the society is doing and the society stops him. Even though the society knows that such a person will change the world for the good.

We have encountered “n” number of instances where if we question the way of thinking we are punished or given the tag of "uncivilized".

I do sometimes challenge this dogma of the so-called civilization. Like what really is it?

If "A" is doing something and "B" imitates it, "C" watches "B" doing and imitates, then why does "D" has to do that only ? Are there any rules written somewhere? If they are, please show them to me.

See friends, I am a guy who asks a hell lot of questions when curious and want to know about something to the root of it. My friends sometimes call me as "questionnaire" too !

And then, if  "D" challenges what the idea behind what "A" has done they all call him "uncivilized".
Why ? Is it just because he is going in some other way. This reminds me of the line so beautifully said by Robin Sharma “All geniuses were first ridiculed before they were revered.”

Now if you go to "B" and ask him "If you give me a valid reason that why are you doing what "A" has done, I'll stop doing what am trying to do and I'll do as per you say"

Ask this question to "C" as well. And you know what they'll answer ?
They will be numb. They'll try to rebuke you and try to whoosh you off because somewhere down the line they are guilty of not being able to answer this simple question of yours.

And I believe it is their fault somewhere. Now you'll ask me why and how. Let me throw some light on it.

"C" is pressurizing "D" to do what "C" has done.
And "C" has done that work because "B" had done it.
And "B" has done it because "A" had done it.
Now think, from where did "A" get this work?
All the others inherited it from their ancestor (here, "A")
But we don't question that FROM WHERE DID “A” GET IT ?

He never got it from someone else. He INVENTED it. He was the one from whom the so-called work took birth. Don't you think he might have faced ridicule during his times ? Because what situation you are facing right now, "A" went through the same set of issues.

For instance, take the Wright Brothers. At their time they were ridiculed to think about a "flying machine". The world called them crazy. They were, in fact, made the laughing stock of the locality for thinking "too high". Thanks to them now we can fly that high!

The world has stood against the odd ones. And it will. Because they cannot tolerate something different happening among them. The fact that why "B" and "C" followed what "A" had done resembles that "A" had invented his thing and "B" and "C" simply followed it. They never tried anything new or maybe they were afraid of failure or maybe they weren't blessed enough to have the power to think out of the box. Now you'll see that the ones who are against you are mostly of the category of "B" and "C". They are the afraid ones. (Residents of the Afraid Street)

These Afraid Street residents cannot see someone going out of their herd. They more or less are like the sheep following what one is following and eating what one of them is eating.

And on the other side of the river, there is a land called "Genius Land". And I know... you live there only. But then we do need our resources and we need the afraid ones in our lives as well.

So how to deal with the world when the world stands against you ? Let me give you some protocols to follow.

1)    Respect and love your haters.

Yes I mean love them ! Why ? Because if they weren't there, from where would you get the motivation to work harder and to prove them wrong ?

2)    Talk less to them.

With less, I mean very less. Because after greetings, the next line coming out from their mouths might hurt you.

3)    If they hurt you?

Now if they hurt you, you'll be spending some amount of time thinking about why they said this and that. While doing so you are wasting up your own time ! And in fact, subconsciously you have allowed them to mess up with the beautiful framework of your mindset. So it's better to not to spend so much time with them.

4)    Don't argue with them, show them !

If you'll start arguing with them, you are yourself saying to them that "Hey! You have hurt me and you have won in hurting me. Congratulations" Do you want them to feel that ? Because they really want to hear those words in your arguments. When you are arguing with them they are subconsciously receiving the message of their success in hurting you. And nothing feels good to them but that feeling alone of hurting you. Please remember that the weak always argue. The wise shows them up. Show your critics with your brilliance and your bravery that you are worth the effort. You CAN change the world.

And I accept it's very difficult to live amid these constant pokes of the mediocrity and still focus on your craft. But let me share with you a beautiful insight with you that I've got just know while writing this blog post.

Imagine yourself as an airplane and the so-called afraid ones as the cars. You can obviously roam around in a country with both but can you roam around the world in the same car? No, you can't. And why is that? Because an airplane flies above the cars.

Now what I invite you to envision is that the airplane also hears the horns or the rebukes of the cars that "there is no use of flying so high and there is no other world than this."

But the airplane has his set of values and strong willpower which gives him the much-needed wisdom and courage to think against the cars. So what does he do ? He takes off. Simply, slowly and steadily with self-belief and curiosity in eyes, he takes off amid the "noisy honking cars" to set his own path and write his own destiny.

Imagine what would happen if the airplane would listen to the cars all his life?  He would die very soon. Now you see what really is happening, the airplane tells the cars about the other part of the never explored world, which fascinates them (cars) and the airplane takes those noisy cars to another land. In return for this service to the society, all those noisy cars shut down their honking and respect the bravery of the airplane and give him the title of the LEGEND !

So my dear friend, the noisy people around you will speak, but it totally depends on you if you want to die among them or take off with that leap of faith and straight away dive into your dreams with those eyes of curiosity to make a change in the world because I believe, you will !

One day, this noise will shut down but you have to keep patience for it which the airplane demonstrated so beautifully.

Practice these ideas, reflect on them. Write them down to get them tattooed on your brain. Because these facts alone, will change your way of looking at your naysayers.

You need those naysayers. They're not useless. Instead, they are priceless. Because the noisy cars challenged the airplane, he dived straight into discovering his own path.

The roads have limits. Sky doesn't. You are an airplane. The sky is yours for the taking, my dear friend. Fly high ! Set your own record in the world! Because somewhere down there, there is a group of noisy cars waiting to give you the title of a LEGEND!

Spread your feathers of faith and fly high.

Till next time.

A short story on Intelligence Vs Common sense

Today, I am pleased to share with you all a simple and a powerful story that was shared with me by a friend of mine. It seemed so fascinating to me that I just couldn’t rest without sharing it with you all. When I heard this story, first I liked it from the surface of it, but when I took a deep dive into it and spend a considerable amount of time reflecting on it, I discovered some very powerful insights. Those insights led me to add some more wisdom in myself and the work ethics in practice. So, I thought, why not share this story ?
Once upon a time there was a fox and a rabbit talking in a forest. They both were aware of the fact that the tiger is hunting down animals for his meal.
Fox : Hey rabbit man! How are you doing ?
Rabbit : Are you seriously asking me THIS question in the middle of this apocalypse ?
Fox : Yeah, why what happened ? You look terrified. Is all good?
Rabbit : I can’t believe that you are at such an ease with the current situation. Don’t you know that the tiger is hunting down each and every animal in his way because of his unfulfilling appetite disorder? And here you are wondering that why I am terrified. That’s horrendous. Wake up and take a whiff of reality Mr. Fox
Fox : Yeah… Whatever !
(And the fox gave his carefree look, which in turn made the rabbit angrier and concerned for Fox because of their years of friendship )
Rabbit : Hey You! Mr. Smart-know-it-all-chilled man ! Tell me one thing, what will you do if the tiger approaches you ?
Fox : Oh ! Am so smart ! I knew this question would be coming to me very soon. Ha-ha. You are asking me that if I have any backup plans or not. Right ?
Rabbit : Yes! Right, do you have any ? Because I myself have only one backup i.e. my burrow. If the tiger comes, I’ll straightaway jump into my burrow. What will you do in such a situation ?
Fox : Ah me ? Dude, I have many options, chill man! Like I can hide in that deep tunnel where the tiger couldn’t enter. Or I can vanish myself into that dark forest where I can easily outrun him or I can climb a tree. Don’t you remember that last month I was awarded for being “The best tree climbing fox” in the whole forest? Huh ! I ain’t scared of him.
And so the rabbit was about to say that when BANG ! With a big growl, the big cat came in. Standing there with the majestic personality, strong masculine body and fierceness in  eyes ready to grab and eat the two fellows standing in front of him. And as the tiger sprinted towards the rabbit, he quickly went to the burrow and hid completely.
But the fox couldn’t think in the heat of that moment and hurriedly ran to the forest. The tiger then led the fox to the deep forest. Fox was trapped and killed by the tiger.
This story might be a regular story for you all, but I saw some deeply hibernating wisdom in it. The fox used to think that the three ways which were there in its kitty would be essential and come handy in the emergency but due to its lack of common sense, the fox couldn’t decide which one should be chosen.
The lesson here is indecisiveness on the part of the fox. We are often presented with such a choice in our day to day lives. Intelligence is a plus point but common sense is a necessity for achieving success in any endeavor.
Just like the fox, many of us keep on wondering what to do, how to do and when to take an action in times of crisis or challenges and all this wondering eats up so much time that no time is left for thinking straight. As a result, we react in the most sudden way that is usually triggered by a fight or flight impulse.
Whereas, on the other side, there are a few niche people a.k.a the A Players who apply the SWOT analysis (an analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) beforehand and applying the strategy as the challenge arises. Now this is called as common sense.
As very much obvious, you must be having a thought that I am encouraging you to have the quality the rabbit displayed. But humbly, no. I am here again focusing on one of my favorite words :- Balance.
Balance out the fox with the rabbit. Have the cunningness of the fox and the speed of the rabbit. Have that common sense of rabbit and ability to discover more than one options like the fox. Because we are not fox or rabbit and the problems/ challenges that we face are bigger than the problem of a chasing tiger !
So in short :-
1)    Balance your mind with your heart
2)    Have more options and clarity of their use

Set yourself to sail in the ocean of uncertainty but be ready with your oxygen tanks and lifeboats. Where oxygen tanks are your common sense and lifeboats are those different options available.

Get Out !

Display Courage !

Have Common sense and Intelligence… so that you are just undefeatable !

Till next time…

What is SEXY ?

What is SEXY according to you ?
Is it the looks of a man or a woman ?
Is it the physique that they have maintained ?
Or is it the car they drive or the house they live in?

I think it isn't what's outside that really counts. It's what you're made of from inside that shows who you truly are. In the smooth waters, it's easy to be a leader. But it's only the bravest who comes in front and takes up the lead. That's what leaders do. I believe that it is really sexy.

With that said, I don't say that being fit isn't good, living in a big house isn't great or driving a Ferrari isn't awesome, yes, it is great, but that's not be all and end all. I believe that's a superficial version of being sexy ! Money, house, your toys (cars and bikes) they're temporary therefore superficially sexy. It's what inside you that is counted as sexy.

Passion is sexy.
Courage is sexy.
Determination is sexy.
Counting your setbacks as your stepping stones to success is sexy.
The quest inside you to unleash the greatest potential in you is sexy.
The positive aura that you create is sexy.
The spirit of never giving up is sexy.
The will to go against the society and chase your dreams is sexy.

And if you have all of it, then my dear friend, you're damn sexy !

What do winners focus on that losers don't?

I guess the reason you've clicked this topic is because you are really eager to know what the winners focus on to be winners and this act of yours defines the courage and strength in you, and I salute it. I salute the powerful soul in you that is so very much ready to learn what the winners focus on. I salute the person in you who is ready to enlighten the world with his genius.

So now I don't have any right to stop you from knowing the secret behind the successful men of this world. So here I go :-

The successful men and women of all ages have had a very tough competition. They had a very tough competition against their mightiest critic who happened to be their best teacher. All the great athletes, all great business tycoons, all great artists the history has ever known, they all had their competition with themselves. They never focused on what their competitors did. This is the main point which differentiated them from the losers. The losers always focus on the winners.

If a winner will be focusing on the loser won't he come to that level?

If a loser will focus on a winner, will he be ever able to focus on winning? Because most of the time he will be focusing on how to defeat his competitor(i.e. winner) and in doing so he wastes some part of his energy. This part of the energy which was not wasted by the winner will be utilised by him in focusing on "winning" rather than on loser. So, you see, that little amount of energy wasted by the loser to focus on the winner instead of focusing on the winning defines the gap between a genius and a mediocre guy.

Success is always defined by the winners. They are the authors of the history. Winners know how to write the history well. They are aware that they have to leave behind themselves a legacy. A legacy that will be continued. A legacy that will be modelled by the future generations. Whereas the losers just leave behind themselves the graves.

Don't you remember the names of the famous Kings like Napoleon? Do you remember the name of even one of his army men? I guess you won't, unless you're a history lecturer.

The world has always been respectful to the top rung people. And I think that is the place that you deserve. You have the right to be at the top. Why settle for second best when you know you're first class? And am here to throw you into the ocean of self-mastery. You have an oxygen tank named Motivational Enlightenment  where I'll be constantly filling in the oxygen. It now depends on you if you want to swim or drown.

Reach deep within this ocean, it's a whole new world down there. I swear you'll love it. You'll want to live your whole life there.

There are stones(negative energies) and pearls(positive energies) down there. Let's see who brings what to the surface.

Stay motivated. Stay excited. Stay happy.
