How To Stay In Top Rung Of Your Industry



Each and every business wants to not only be the best but also be exceptionally marvelous in their fields so that they could dominate their kingdom with honor and supreme prestige.
So today, I would like to present to you some beautiful tactics to make sure that you stay in the top rung of your business for much longer time than your contemporaries.



1)    INTEGRATION OF SUCCESS.

The success of every business lies in the success of each and every employee working in it. All of us, humans, are hard wired to contribute fully to an outer bowl when our inner bowl of basic needs, wishes, and life security is filled up to the brim.

Therefore, it is recommended that a company should try to integrate the goals of the company with personal goals of each of the employees so that they feel they are contributing not only to the company’s profits but also to their own dreams as well.

 
2)    RENOVATION. 

I have visited many firms and companies. Many of the top level managers of such big firms complain that their workforce isn’t that much motivated even though the firm is giving them all the perks one could ever think of.

Sometimes, it is only a bit of renovation that does the magic. We all want to live in a beautiful house, so don’t your workforce/employees need a better and beautiful workstation to operate? Make sure you get your company renovated at least once in 3 or 5 year.
This idea might seem to be futile for a moment, but the effect it could produce in your workforce is tremendous like multiple ripples of water created with a single pebble thrown in the water.
Such a step will surely make your employees feel that they themselves and their surroundings are taken care of like a mother takes care of their babies. Boundless passion, never ending admiration and highest of respect – this is what you’ll get in return. I hope that does sound like a fair deal. Isn’t it?


3)    GET TO KNOW YOUR WORKFORCE.

Do you know what is the sweetest sound in the world to a human ear? It is the sound of one’s own name. 

1.  Start memorizing the names of your company’s employees to the bottom level. Of course, it will be difficult, but whoever said that being a magnificent leader is easy?
2. Do a maximum of 10 names a day for starting and then gradually increase it.
3.  Ask the name of your employee when you first meet them, try to connect the mental imagery of name with that of the person’s appearance or way of speaking or the state they have come from home and as many as cues you could gather about them.
4. Then each and every time you go on a “check-round”, make sure to call up that person with their name with a sweet sound and pleasant warm smile on your face. Your employees will love you for it.

The current day employees not only crave for money, most of them are, to this day, starving for praise and love. Start loving your employees. Make them feel they aren’t just some movable assets acquired by the company to make profits, but they are the future profit earning partners in the company’s growth. 



4)    E for EMPLOYEES, E for EMOTIONS



It is so hurting to see that employers of this era know their workforce more from without than from within. You have to get this thing straight that your employees need your emotional support too, mere financial support isn’t what they only crave for. 

Of course, money matters to them just like it does to you, but don’t forget that they carry their emotions to work every day, in and out. Your workforce comes to your office not only with full energy but also with their emotional baggage, which might prove to be, indirectly, costly to your business. Make the time to show them you care for their emotional wellbeing as well. Your employees will certainly grow the love they have for you to a whole different level of wow.





As discussed above, these simple yet quite effective ideas will take you and your company to a whole new level of employee loyalty and love. Here are a few more ideas on how you can add an outrageous amount of employee satisfaction to your company’s favor.

1)    Every week, pick up 4 employees randomly from your employees’ list and have lunch with them outside the company premises. Try to know them more than you ever had.
2)    Start an “open meeting one-hour policy” in your firm. Under this heading, any of your employees/workforces could approach you and discuss on any matter that is troubling them. Keep one hour for this and subtract all the outside distractions to focus only on the person in front of you.
3)    Send out weekly games to your employees on every Sunday. Suppose today is a Monday. So, today itself, inform your employees about the game that all of you would be playing on the coming Saturday night before going home. This way your employees will come rejuvenated and full of fresh energy on the following Monday. For this activity, close your office on the half day of Saturday (or Friday, whichever day is your last working day of the week). Games could be anything as simple as playing hide and seek or throw a ring etc.
4)    Organize “Award Night” every month where you distribute awards to your employees. Okay, time to hold your horses. No, I DON’T MEAN that you should be distributing awards like “Most Efficient Employee” or “Rockstar of the week”. Instead, make this night a total employees’ night where they could come on stage and do mimicry or dance or sing or do anything they are good at. Might be the shyest guy of your employee is excellent at playing the flute. Just imagine how much he would work hard if you simply praise him for his skill.
