How To Build Strong Relationships

Each and everything that exists in this material world, be it a living thing or a non- living one, they’re all connected to each other. There is an existence of a very beautiful bond between all the things. Among humans, we call that ‘bond’ or that sort of connection as “relationships”.

Feeling connected and loved by those whom we’re connected to, is a very fundamental need that almost all of us crave for in our lives, from the beginning to the end.  Despite of this, we sometimes feel that there is some sort of disconnection, or we tend to experience that some sort of aura gets missing and we feel gloomy.

So today with this article, I would like to present to you some very beautiful tips on How To Build Strong Relationships.
Let’s get started …

1)    Schedule It!

Every successful company schedules its meetings. We all schedule our days around our work but often we forget to schedule the time we want to spend with our loved ones. Don’t spend so much time in work that you’re left wondering how your kids became adults so soon. Watch them grow. Be part of their growing up. Not just in parenting, we desperately need scheduling in all of our “relationships”.

Plan out all those days in which you want to spend time with your loved ones. Sit with them, ask them that you genuinely are interested in doing so and watch how they assist you. If your excuse all these years has been that they don’t have time for you, then try this idea! They’ll appreciate you took this step and they WILL give you time ad love, for sure. ;)

Scheduling is always done and recommended for achieving a specific or a defined goal/objective. Isn’t spending time and creating moments of happiness in your relationships one of your life’s meaningful purposes?

2)    Say “I Love You” More Often

This one’s surely a no brainer.

You love your loved ones. Well, everyone loves their respective loved ones. You love them. They love you. Still, why do you feel that emotional hole?

Lack of expression – that’s the simplest answer to that.

Loving is merely like a car without wheels if you don’t make the time and effort to say “I Love You” to your loved ones like you mean it. Would that simple thing, ever cost you anything? Not at all. Still, do we do it? Guess not. So, please do that A LOT!

And don’t just go straightaway and say “Hey! I want to tell you that I love You”, well that could be done, but it lacks the ‘surprise’ element.

Plan something exciting and surprise your loved ones regularly.  Don’t leave those three letters to be used only when it’s your loved one’s anniversary or birthday, use them more often!

Love More To Get Loved More!

3)     Engage in deep meaningful conversations

Those distress times when we don’t feel that some “spark” is missing in our lives, then is the moment you should realize that you have something troubling you or your loved one. Sit with them. Make time for them! (I just have to repeat this one again!) Go to a place where none of your sexy social notifications could poke you for your valuable attention. Turn off all distractions and make the other person talking. Cheer them up. Make them feel like “Oh! That has happened to me as well…” and then go on with your story. Sometimes when we feel that our close ones have been through the same things, same battles, same struggles, we feel that we are not alone. Or if there’s no connection between the thing troubling your loved one and you; just lend a helping hand and an empathetic ear to them. It will mean a new world to them. We all worry a lot; sometimes all it takes is just that one person to whoosh it all away!

4)    Encourage Healthy Criticism

All of us want to know our weaknesses to improve ourselves so that we could improve the quality of the fine thread of our relationships. Engage in healthy criticism with your loved ones. Be patient, listen to all those bad things about you and say “Shut Up!” to your mind when the other person is talking. After he/she has finished, don’t just blurt out all those reasons you were withholding earlier, instead talk it through with them. Your relationship is a journey, go with the other person hand in hand, together getting through all obstacles; and this can be only done if you encourage each other to be the best you see in your better half.

5)    What If Fights Occur…?

If fights occur, then remember you both are in this relationship; make sure one person remains silent if the other is unintentionally loud. And the last thing I want to suggest you, which I apply in my life is – never go to sleep after a fight. You just never know when the other person won’t be there to continue that fight. So instead of dozing off with hatred in heart, get up and resolve, then sleep peacefully.

Hope my ideas will serve you to the fullest of their potential.
Dwell on them for some time. Think deeply through each one of these points and try to use them as often as you could.
Relationships are the only jewels you have in life. Don’t lose them. . . or else, you’ll lose life!

Till next time!

How to get All The Time you ever wanted in Your Life

Hello!
Hope all are doing good in their fields and chasing your dreams in the most astonishing manner. Today's article is a bit tricky and it might make your mind go boggling, but you will love it !

I've heard many people saying :-

"Dude, I really wanna do the study for exam, but seriously I don't have time"

OR

"Am telling you, if God gave me one wish, it would be :- I wish I had more time to give to my family"

OR

"Bro, I really want to do the gym, but can't. No time, you see"

These are some of the typical excuses I've heard. Pardon me for referring to them as “excuses” because I know that for you guys they're reasons. But just wait, let me tell you something, by the end of this blog post, you'll yourself see these so called “Reasons” of yours transforming into “Excuses”.

Now let me ask you a question, why do you say that you don't have time for doing this and that ?

Why ?

Because you know inside yourself that the particular thing you're delaying is a very crucial thing to you.

The only reason why humans pose questions or queries or show discomfort is because they want a change.

The reason that you're giving all these reasons (I want to use the word excuses here but I won't,  as I've promised you that in the end you'll yourself refer to them as excuses) that why you're giving all these reasons is because you know that how much uncomfortable you are from inside.

It feels bad when you know inside yourself that what your potential is and what you're doing. It does feel suffocating when you are not able to take out time for working towards your stars in the sky. It feels bad when you see yourself fatty in the mirror. Yes, it feels so hurting when you know you could be doing a work that is of significance to you. To some people it feels bad when you can't do anything for the society.

I believe that the only reason why people give "reasons" that why they can't get the time is just because they are insecure from inside. They are hiding the fact that yes they know inside themselves that they can take out time due to their own unproductive activities. People cover their "excuses" with the cover called "reasons" because they are hiding their own "astonishing selves" from the world and themselves.

Where are you hiding?
And... seriously... Why are you hiding?

Why are you running away from the fear, when you know one-day chickens will come home to roost?

What is the point in running? You many run, but how far will you go? One day the fear will catch you.

So my gentle suggestions to you all are :-

1)   Make time to spend with your family.

2)   Make the time to break bread with your customers and your suppliers.

3)   Make the time to do good for the society.

4)   Make the time to call up your friends and tell them how much you miss them.

5)   Make the time to touch the life of one stranger each day and leave him/her with a smile. (I do this whenever I see an opportunity).

6)   Make the time to read bedtime stories to your children. I know you wouldn't want to regret this when they grow up, sadly many do.

7)   Make the time to get your fitness levels to new heights each and every day. You really can't put a price tag on it!

8)   Prioritize your work because clarity is the mother of mastery. For mastery you need clarity. And for clarity you need prioritization. (Read my article on prioritization here at How to prioritize your day ? )

IMMEDIATELY STOP listening to "The Coward You". Listen to "The Brave You".

Let the world brighten up with the light from the fire within you. If you don't do it, someone else will. It might be the next woman/man reading this article or it might be the one who just read it and is now engaged ferociously in her/his work!

Are you that one for which I've written this?

If yes, then my friend, throw away all your excuses! And do what Nike teaches us :-  JUST DO IT!

Stay motivated. Stay excited. Stay happy.

How to Prioritize Your Day In The Best Possible Way

What do you focus on in your life? What are those things, around which your day revolves? What is the thing on which you spend most of your time?  This is what we define as our priorities. Priorities are those things on which we spend our whole day.

Now let me ask you a simple question:- what is that thing on which you spend a lot of time in your whole day? I know that the answers to this would be separate as we all are separate individuals. But are you going in the right direction ? Whatever thing you are spending most of your time on, can you see some sort of route through it which leads you to your dreams?

If not then, where are you going? Just think about this. What life are you leading then? What is the purpose of your life? The sole purpose of life should be leading a life of purpose.

Martin Luther King said it so beautifully that,” If you haven't found something worth dying for, then you are not fit to live”

Many of us spend the best of our days chit chatting, too much SMS, too much Facebook, too much Whatsapp, too many distractions, thus too much wasting of time. And then we sacrifice on our sleep to gain back the time we have lost in the day. And by doing this, the sleep deprivation makes our body weak. Thus, wasting of our body. So you see, the lack of prioritization wastes our potential, wastes our health, wastes our emotional happy state and to sum it up, it  is harmful to us. I think it's worse than any deadly disease. This particular disease starts from our own ways of spending our days.

See, This is what happens when you don’t focus on your To Dos List. We all make this To Do List very enthusiastically and very professionally. But the moment it comes to implementation, we procrastinate. Here are some simple steps on how to prioritize your day in the best possible manner : -

1)    In the morning, as you wake up do the most important thing in the very first few hours of the day.
In this way, your that most important work can avail the benefits of your fresh mind. And you can achieve the “big goal of the day” much successfully.

2)    Wake up Early !
I know , its difficult. But is it much more valuable to you than your dreams? No, Isn’t it ? So please wake up early. Because when you will wake up early and do your “big goal of the day” successfully, guess what it gives? It gives a sense of confidence, a sense of satisfaction. And it also leaves you with lots of leisure time in the day to relax and rejuvenate yourself.

3)    Make a time table.

Schools have taught this. Teachers have taught this. And you can easily search the net for advantages of a time table. So am skipping to the next point.

4)   Write your next day’s goals in the evenings.

As and when you are free from work and return home, give at least 15 minutes to build up your next day’s To Do List. Keep it short, simple and don’t make this list in the nights. Otherwise, your mind will always be stuck that you have some pending things to do and thus you won’t be able to sleep peacefully in the night.

5)   Don’t Put too many things in your plate.

Prioritization is done to make things simple and when you try to add up too many things in your To Do list, it gets tiring to even see it! And thus you don’t need any better reason to procrastinate.

6)   Don’t stress if you can’t do some things in the list.

We’re humans so yes, we do have limits and responsibilities and the tendencies to get deviated from our track. But if still due to some important reasons, you couldn’t complete your tasks don’t stress it, smile, stay happy and focus on what you have achieved and simply put that thing on the next day’s list.

So there you have it, a few simple ideas to take your life from mediocre level to the genius level.
