Who are You living for ?

Most people these days are doing up jobs. By no means, I am saying that jobs are not good. Am not against jobs. What I would like to drag your focus into is that, Who are you living for?

I've seen so many people in jobs who boast of their designations. Many boast of their companies. I don't have any problems with that also. Of course, you should be proud of the prestigious organization for which you're working. But I have seen that the people who boast of their companies, they generally tend to be living for their companies only. They spend their whole time in the company. And when by God's grace if they get a day off or if it's a holiday, then also they are doing up the office work.
Of course, the company will pay you when you'll work for it. But why don't you work for yourself?

People these days are so much engrossed with the work of their office that they don't even take out time to think about themselves. Many of them are not even cared about their weights! I mean their weights are just crossing the mark of a century and still they think of the company all the time!
They are not concerned about their health even for a second. And I think this is the reason why all of such people are running after money. They are just running after money without realizing that if God forbid, one day they get admitted, all this accumulated wealth will go away. Let me pose in front of you a very simple yet a very, very, very profound question :-  Is, you working in your company making YOU rich?

Now you would say that yes my company is paying me and am being rich with it. And you obviously must be making some investments, so that’s what you are saying as being rich. But you're not getting my point. Your company owners are earning in millions. And might be you're working in just thousands. But the question isn't that how much you're earning? My question here is ... What you're earning, are you able to fulfill all yours and your families wishes with it, right now? Don't tell me the answer. Think about it yourself. Just give it a thought. And WHAT WILL BE THE USE OF BOASTING ABOUT YOUR COMPANY IF YOUR NUMBER OF MEDICINES INTAKE(IN FUTURE) IN A DAY IS GREATER THAN THE NUMBER OF ZEROES IN YOUR PAYCHECK?  At the end, you're just an employee for your company. (Having said that, I don't mean all companies are bad, yes there are some very good ones who treat their people like their biggest asset)

Am again saying, I am not criticizing working for a company, but are you working up for your dreams?
Has the small bright sun of your dreams somewhere lost amidst the dark clouds of the job ?
Please look into it.

Many of us get trapped in the deep dark abyss of the designations we are offered by the companies, they sometimes seem to be very lucrative, but when we go inside them, then we realize that we are trapped. I have given this situation my own spin and have defined it as “The Hypnosis of Delightful Designations”.

I don’t mean here that the designations are not important in a company, undoubtedly they are, but my focus here is to remind our friends and families who are boasting of their designations to a great extent, who just fail to realize that they are mere illusions because when a person is gone he is never remembered for the (oh so alluring) designations he achieved, but, he is always remembered for the good deeds he did.

What could be a nobler deed than working towards your dreams?
Or working for a company where you get the job of your interest?

A friend of mine said me that his company doesn't give him the value he deserves. He isn't happy working for such firm. I gave him the suggestion to switch job. Of course, this decision seems to be quite sensitive and serious but it was necessary. So he did it. He took the leap of faith in the vast ocean of uncertainty. Then guess what? He quit the job. He was unemployed for about two weeks, regularly used to call me to explain his situation, but I was humbly fortunate to support him and motivate him. And then, God listened to him and he got three jobs consecutively. Right now he is at his third job in a period of less than one month! And yes, I forgot to tell you, he is in love with his this job because this job is what he wanted.

I would thus like to put forth a simple solution for you, when you wake up, if the fact that you’re going to job makes you happy and inspires you to treat your work as a craft, you are in love with your job. If this doesn’t happen you surely need to do some corrections in the pattern in which your life is headed.

I believe you need them both, working for your company as well as your dreams. Working for company to pay your bills and working for your dreams to make your heart devoid of any future regrets. But make sure you are committed to world-class performance in both the aspects because the former will feed your family, while the latter will feed your soul.

So, WORK FOR BOTH!

Till next time.

Is Money God ???

"Money is God in this world" just heard this line from a friend. And it made me think on this. Is he really right?

Is my friend right?

Let's study this concept today.

In earlier days there was barter system, and then it got replaced by money system.

If we look at the barter system, the person A would give his product to person B only if, B had some goods with himself. I think that is the same case happening these days. You will get a product only if you give the other person some money (which in itself is a product).

So I guess my friend is partially right. Money is very much important in this world. But it should never be given the status of God.

I guess I've made my points pretty much clear. Money and emotions, they can never be correlated and they both should never be compromised. They are not supplementary to each other. They should work together in your life, they're complimentary.

Yes, I know that if you have money it will make your journey to success much more pleasant and smooth. But wouldn't the kiss of your spouse, the hug of your children and the love of your dog make your day happy ?

Yes, it's good to be rich but I think it would be better to be rich from the heart as well. Balance it out. Love your children like there's no tomorrow. This day today will never come today. This moment that you're reading this blog will never come again. You really can't recapture what you could have done today. Earn lots of money, but with that, earn relationships too. :)

Work hard, play hard and love harder.

Richness by Luck or by Achievement ; Which Is Better ?

Let's compare the words luck and achievement first...

Luck is defined as an unknown and unpredictable phenomenon that leads to a favorable outcome.
And Achievement is defined as an action of getting something successfully.

Now coming on the topic of being rich by luck or being rich by achievement.

Being rich by luck is, in fact, being rich by a matter of chance. According to me, this form of richness is temporary because if a person earns his richness by achievement then he knows the value of hard work. The person who has spent his days relentlessly and spent his nights sleeplessly, only that person knows the value of his/ her hard work. That particular person can enjoy his success only when he knows that he has done something for it. Well... Everyone has their own views. And this is mine. And I don't regret saying this. I believe in hard work. Sincere and dedicated work to your dreams and to your aspirations. This is what the price you have to pay for being the elite superstar of your field. I believe that if a person gets riches by luck, he can't manage and respect that money in such a manner as a person who has earned something by his hard work would do it.
You can get riches by luck... But it needs a real man to manage it.
The main thing is this ... Yes, it takes months, years and even decades for a person to achieve his rich dreams. But when he does, he lives his dreams.

And that's what this whole blog is all about. This blog is dedicated to the real tiger in you, who wants richness by achievement.

Let me ask you something...
Do you want to earn respect OR you want to make others respect you?

There is a difference between the two... The one who achieves his riches by luck is given fake respect because everyone knows it's just a matter of chance that he earned it. Whereas a person who has earned riches from his hard work, he deserves respect, so he gets it. And this respect is from the heart of everyone. Let me put this in a simple way... THE "LUCKY GUYS" GET THEMSELVES RESPECTED. WHEREAS THE "REAL GUYS" (AKA THE ACHIEVERS), THEY ARE RESPECTED.

I leave the ball in your court now... Which side do you wanna play on?

The real guy side... Or the Lucky guy side?

Why is it important to be rich?

Being rich can be diverted in two ways : -
Either people are rich by heart
OR
By mind.

Being rich by heart means that you are happy with what you are and what all you have achieved. This feeling is given a short name i.e. self-satisfaction. An easy way to identify those people is that they wear the most beautiful smiles in the word. Their eyes speak more than their words. Their eyes speak how happy they are. Your eyes are the true reflection of yourself.

And by being rich in mind it means that for you, the clothes you wear, the car you drive matters the most. For some, the watch means Rolex only. It means being in the good lifestyle. For some, it means being in the flashlight and the paparazzi following you. Sometimes people feel that only these material possessions can make them feel rich. I've observed one thing that many times the most of the income of these super rich people goes in maintaining that lifestyle.

Now I would like to share my own views on this.
The essence of life lies in the balance

For me, richness means self-satisfaction. Richness, for me, means being aligned with my own values and following my dreams and passions ferociously. Richness means being aware of what you are and where you want to be and you know exactly what all you need to do to achieve it and then you set yourself up to achieve it. Yes, these material things like buying a nice car and a lavish home, they are necessary for life. Yes, these things are necessary for life. They make your journey of success easy, but yes we should possess such things, they shouldn't possess us. History has shown that many billionaires and millionaires had a very hard past. And thus, money became their motivation factor that made them work harder.
Scarcity gives birth to the human urge of being rich.
Richness means giving back. Giving back to the people around you. Richness is not about what you have, it is about what all you can give. It takes the mind to earn a lot ... But it takes a much bigger heart to give what you've earned.
I would like to end my this blog with this thought :-

Richness can be earned in two ways :-
1) by luck

Or

2) by achievement.

Which way do you want to go?
